Book Review-The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown

The Lost Symbol is a 2009 novel by American writer Dan Brown. It is a thriller set in Washington, D.C., after the events of The Da Vinci Code, and relies on Freemasonry for both its recurring theme and its major characters.

Released on September 15, 2009, it is the third Brown novel to involve the character of Harvard University symbologist Robert Langdon, following 2000's Angels & Demons and 2003's The Da Vinci Code.

I have to say this is the best book I have read in a long time. I love how Dan Brown builds his story's around actual places. I had fun Googling things in the book such as George Washington as Zeus statue (pictured below). Everything I Googled were true items or places. I really would love to go to Washington D.C. now and see some of these item for myself. I think I would love to buy this book with all the illustrations in it to keep in my book collection.

I've never heard of this author but then there's a lot of them that I don't know. When I was doing a lot of reading I used to love Stephen King, Robin Cook, John Saul and one other that I can't remember

I read this book at some point last year, think it was around this time, and I couldn't put it down. I find Dan Brown to be one of the few authors who I can just sit and read. Think I managed to read the book in about a week, and I can't wait for them to make this into a film
