No Bake Cookies

I have been very busy today baking. I love to bake.

Everyones favorite at my house is No Bake Cookies.

I was a little lazy today so I didn't even get out my old recipes. I let my fingers do the walking and googled it. I ended up making the recipe from allrecipes.com.

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, and cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool until hardened.

Super easy and super yummy!

I make these with a slightly different recipe, and they never harden. I think I might try your recipe tomorrow and see how they harden.

we love no bake cookies here. My daughter is the self proclaimed cookie queen but says she can not make no bakes, they never turn out. She's living in Colorado now and when I was talking to her on the phone the one day she asked what kind of cookies I made. When I told her she said she missed no bakes so I sent some to her in the mail. She'll be so surprised when she sees them

Looks like the little guy is anxiously awaiting the hardening process :)
