Fertilize Friday

I have been really enjoying logging the progress of my yard. I can't believe how fast everything grows. Thanks Judi at Where The Road Takes Us for getting me started with Fertilize Friday.

If you too would like to log your gardens growth and see many other fabulous gardens join over at Tootsie Time.

I have to say my pictures this week are not very good. I didn't get out there till later in the evening and it was starting to get dark. This summer has really been hot and humid and I think my plants have been loving it. We have had to water alot but everything is growing and blooming like crazy.

For my birthday two good friends of mine gave me these. The picture above is a bird house on a shovel. I love it! It looks just great in my garden. The picture below is a lady bug house. Isn't it just too cute. I can't wait to see if lady bugs really move in. I just love it too. I love adding new things to my garden.
The plant below just bloomed. I don't know the name of this plant. I have it in my hosta garden and it has big leafs like the hosta but it gets these pretty yellow blooms.

Above is what I look at when I'm sitting on my porch. I guess I could of moved the sprinkler. I didn't even notice it on the lawn till I down loaded this picture. My plants are maturing really nice.
This is one of the pots I planted for the deck. It has a Hibiscus in it that has beautiful yellow blooms. A friend of mine gave me this cute frog. We live on a lake and I love frogs so this one fits right in.
This is my view then I'm sitting on the cover porch on the lake side. I have these 5 pot sitting on the top deck. I didn't want a railing there but I didn't want anyone to get hurt by falling of the deck to the lower one either. The pots full of flowers look great and make people stop from stepping off the deck.
I hope you enjoyed my little tour of my yard.

I love the lady bug house! I also think the bird house on a shovel is a great idea.
