Fertilize Friday

I have been really enjoying logging the progress of my yard. I can't believe how fast everything grows. Thanks Judi at Where The Road Takes Us for getting me started with Fertilize Friday.

If you too would like to log your gardens growth and see many other fabulous gardens join over at Tootsie Time.

It has been hot hot hot here this past week. We have been watering but I think the plants really perfer rain. There is rain in the forcast for this weekend and I'm sure my plants will be very happy to be watered by God.

This is from on of the big pots I planted on each side of the walk way into the house. They are really doing good and filling in.
This lily I bought from the Michigan Bulb Company. It came and it was really little. I think it is now 2 years old and it's the first time it bloomed.
These lilies are next to our deck and they are just full of blooms and look wonderful.
Here is my hubby's bird feeder. He just loves watching all the birds that come to feast on the seeds. But from the seeds we now have sunflowers growing. I did plant some but they are not doing as good as these. Behind the feeder is the butterfly bush. It hard to see because everything is green. It really looks nice if you are standing there it just doesn't show off in the picture.
Below is our new flower bed we just planted this spring. All the plants seem to be taking good and are growing.
This is along side the garage. These lilies are about done blooming. My tomato's are not doing very good. They are a bit small for this time of year. We do have some tomato's on the plants. We also have a Japaness Maple which we planted a couple of years ago. This year it looked like it was dead then it started developing leafs at the bottom. We are just leaving it alone to see what happens. In this picture you only can see the top (dead part) of the tree.
We love working out in the yard and it is such a joy watching everything grow.

your lilies are looking good. and I love the plantings on the lake side of the deck. The hibiscus is beautiful!! Can't wait to see mine bloom. I was wondering about my magnolia tree this year, but it came around and looks good now.

I love the pink lily. I've never seen one that color before.
