Adopt a Pet

All my life I have had dogs and cats in my home. I think having a pet makes a house a home. They are always there to greet you when you come home and loves you no matter what. Growing up we had a inside dog and a outside dog. My mom wasn't a cat person. Once I moved out I ended up getting a cat. I loved how independent a cat is compared to a dog. Once we had kid's we adopted a dog. She was wonderful with the kids and a big part of our family. She pasted away about two years ago and our house really seems empty. We talk often about adopting another dog but we are a very busy family and think right now just may not be the right time. Just about 3 weeks ago we had a cat hanging around outside out door. He is really cute with a have black and half white nose. We laugh and say he adopted us as his family. We feed him and he now comes right in the house like he owns the place.

I have even heard that people with pets are happier people and healthier. I like to be happy and healthy so that alone is a good reason to adopt a pet.

This is a great site. I might use it next time we decide to get another dog. You know how I love puppies!
