Getting Campus Ready with Sears

"This post was sponsored by Sears. All the opinions are mine as stated in my Disclosure Policy"

I was just over at checking out what they have for the college student heading off in the fall. My oldest is going to a local community college this month. I know that isn't like moving into a dorm room but he does need a few things. Next year Son #2 will be heading off to college and staying in a dorm room. I was having fun getting a couple of idea's for his room next year and getting a idea of what it will cost. Sear has what they call a getting CampusReady section on their site. It's really awesome and very easy to use. They have several dorm rooms all set up. If you like what you see all you need to do is click on shop this room and all the products you see are right there. You can even have your student make a shopping list of things they would love for their new dorm room. Sears carry's so many things you can get all your shopping done in one spot. There is even financial planning tips and clothing for their up coming exciting year.

For my oldest who is going to college this fall we picked out a nice new ipod/alarm clock combo, a desk lamp and a new comforter for his bed. I can see more idea's for later but I think this is a great start.

I have my other son who is going to be heading off next year making a shopping list. I was thinking I could even get him a couple of the items he likes for Christmas. His list is looking very long and we will need a year to get all that he wants.
