This is very yummy on a cold fall day.
1 large jar of white Northern beans (rinsed)
6 cups chicken broth
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 medium chopped onions
1 T oil
1 4 ounce can chopped green chilies
2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp dry oregano
1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
4 cups diced cooked chicken breasts
I also add:
Green, Yellow and Orange pepper to taste
Plus some celery to taste
Just sautee garlic and all the onions, add beans and broth. Add chilies and seasonings to mix then add chicken and simmer for one hour.
Serve with chips or Frito's, grated cheese and sour cream. Hot sauce on the sour cream is also yummy.

okay, I was one of the lucky ones to get to have this for lunch yesterday. yummy!! Great alternative to the traditional chili.
That looks delicious. I'm printing it out and making that this weekend.
Thanks!
